FAQ

All personal items of clothing, footwear, coats, jackets, text books, course material, hair care devices, bed linen and towelling. Laptops or other electrical items and or their batteries will not be accepted. A non-exhaustive list of prohibited items is available in our terms and conditions.

Up to 50kg per consignment. Additional weight, subject to vehicle capacity capabilities, will be charged at €10/kg.

All consignments will be charged for 50kg regardless of whether utilised or not.

Subject to vehicle capacity capabilities and prior notice, larger items may be facilitated at an agreed additional cost.

There is a limit of two bags per consignment.

Luggage must be contained in a Suitcase, Rucksack or Hold all. The maximum dimensions are 800mm (height) 600mm (width) 350mm (depth). Large plastic bags or similar are not acceptable.

Once notified in advance a nominated person can either drop off or collect a consignment.

Luggage consignments will be collected on a predetermined date, at an agreed time and location at the consignor’s home institution / college. Consignments will be delivered on a predetermined date, at an agreed time and location at the consignor’s destination institution / college.

All baggage will be labelled and be assigned a unique identifier on collection. Baggage will be released at the destination college / institution on presentation of the identifier.

All persons utilising the service and presenting with baggage must have signed up to Campsus2Campus terms and conditions, including a declaration that the items in their consignment are in compliance with all international laws and regulations. 

If vehicle capacity allows, your bags may be returned to your home university / institution at a later date. Please note returned baggage will be charged at the same rate as outgoing baggage.

Yes, the service will operate on a two-way basis for all outgoing and incoming Erasmus students and Tutors.

Campus2 Campus will endeavour to deliver your bags to their destination campus within 3 – 5 working days. Times will vary depending on the destination campus location.

Luggage will be accompanied at all times by a Campus2Campus representative from pick up to delivery.

The service is aligned to the academic calendar and subject to demand will operate at Term beginning, Mid-term, Christmas / January, Easter and Term end.
